Northside Patient Care

Northside Patient Care

Beginning in June 2022, UFA and Northside Hospital Orthopedic Institute - Sports Medicine (NHOISM) will begin working together to provide a Player Care program for players at UFA in a combined effort to enhance player performance, recovery, and care.

Onsite trainer is available at Fowler Park, Mondays and Thursdays from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. beginning August. 4th

In addition to onsite medical coverage and focusing on player performance, Northside will address concussion testing and protocol, sleep for the competitive athlete, healthy nutrition, and strategies to avoid screen time at key times of the day.  All participants will also have access to WIN (Walk-IN) Clinic hours from 8 - 10 a.m., Monday through Friday with no appointment necessary at our Forsyth, Alpharetta, Midtown, Lawrenceville, and Sandy Springs locations. Northside will be working hand in hand with program directors to prevent injury, improve performance and make sure when something does go wrong, they get you evaluated quickly. Whether seeing your program-designated Certified Athletic Trainer or following up with a physician, your care is their priority. Northside Hospital is here to be your source of strength!

We are excited about this partnership and the benefits it will bring for players at UFA!
